Welcome to my "mystery theatre"

I love mysteries -- especially ones with characters set in period, like Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, and Philip Marlowe. The classic films are fantastic, too -- Laura, Mike Hammer, and The Maltese Falcon are just a few I've watched time and time again. One of my favorite modern-day detective characters is Michael Connelly's Hieronymous Bosch -- he definitely deserves to star in a movie or two. While I confess I'm no Agatha Christie, I have tried my poison-pen at a few who-dunnits.

Selected Reading:

When the Axe Falls - Mystery, murder and metal meld in this mind-blowing yarn. (Rated PG)

The Case of the Crooked Colt - The sport of kings can be a royal pain -- especially when the finish line is really the finish. (Rated G)

The Maltese Kitty - Gumpaw Sam Spayed tells the tail of treacherous tomasinas and "the stuff that dreams are made of..." (Rated G)
