Welcome to my "music room"

While hard rock is my mainstay (Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Guns N Roses, Bush, The Smashing Pumpkins), my musical tastes range from Billie Holiday to Beck Hansen. Almost everything I write has its own secret "soundtrack"; I like to take that a step further and mention certain bands in my stories -- or a leap further, and immerse the story itself in music. Here are a few examples.

Books:

Rock & Roll Fantasy - My tribute to the tarot, classic rock music, word play and sword play. Have you ever had sympathy for the Devil? Horrors of the Holy - My short story collection, in which the title itself is a play on words (one of my favorite albums is Zep's Houses of the Holy). The story 'Anti-Christ Superstar', while it doesn't mentioned them by name, is an homage to my favorite band; 'Reflections of the Damned' features an obsessive vampire whose object of desire is loosely based on Pamela Courson; and the last story, 'Goddamned Rock Star', is about a Brit rocker who has a run-in with Old Scratch.
