Story of the Weeping Camel, The (2003 docudrama and tearjerker)

It's springtime in Mongolia 's Gobi Desert , and a family of nomadic shepherds anticipates the expected births in their camel herd. One of the camels (Ingen Temee) has a difficult delivery but presents the family with a beautiful rare white calf named Botok; the baby's color puts the mother off, and she rejects it. Mommy and baby weep throughout the film as the desperate family struggles to unite them.
