That Darn Cat! (1965, screwball and mystery)
This kitschy cat classic is about D.C. (short for Darn Cat), a stylish and clever Siamese who brings home a wristwatch one night, and unwittingly becomes the Federal Bureau of Investigation's most valuable informant in a kidnapping case. Old blue eyes' mistress, played with real charm by Hayley Mills, invites a cat-allergic FBI agent (Dean Jones) along for the wild ride, and screwball hilarity ensues. D.C. is played by Syn, a purebred Siamese who also starred in The Incredible Journey. That Darn Cat! is based upon a novel called Undercover Cat , by Gordon and Mildred Gordon.
