Sammy the Way-Out Seal (1962, comedy and slapstick)

Young, far-out brothers Arthur and Petey Loomis (Billy Mumy and Michael McGreevey) are all set to have a groovy summer beach vacation that's a real gas, but then they find an injured seal and have to nurse it back to health. They both become very attached to their bad-breathed, barking, bewhiskered pet. They know their parents (Robert Culp and Patricia Barry) won't let them keep such an exotic animal, so when it comes time to go home at the end of the summer they sneak Sammy home in back of the family wagon and try to keep him hidden. Of course, once Sammy takes a dip in the neighbor's pool, the seal's out of the bag.
