Pet Sematary (1989, horror and suspense)

When a young family moves to a new neighborhood, they let their cat outside and the cat soon goes splat under the wheels of a speeding truck. Their neighbor, Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne), feeling sorry for the family, reveals a secret about an Indian burial ground nearby, which has mysterious rejuvenating powers. The cat, a robust pewter gray named Church, is buried there. but not for long. Being run over, buried, then brought back to zombified life is obviously one of Church's pet peeves and he's out for revenge. The idea for this story came about when Stephen King's daughter's cat, Smuckey, was killed on the highway outside their home. The movie is based upon King's novel, Pet Sematary.
