Little Men (1940, drama and romance)
![]() |
One of the "Little Women" Jo March (Kay Francis) is all grown up now, and running a school for underprivileged boys. The story really has nothing to do with animals, but I'm letting it horn in anyway because the movie is notable in that it features a milking scene with a cow named Buttercup who was played by Elsie, the official Borden's Milk spokes-cow. She's udderly adorable, and has the biggest brown eyes you'll ever see. Based upon the novel by Louisa May Alcott. |
